Re Focusing!!

 

So, I have come to the realisation that I have totally abandoned my blog! I have spent the past going few days having a read of blogs from previous students and I found that they really did find help and understanding from each other. I am currently at my grandma’s house because trying to get sufficient work done at home seems impossible at the moment, my mind constantly seems to wonder onto housework, dinner prep and the kids. So, I have found I need to totally remove myself from those surroundings. Out of sight out of mind!

Now I am at the stage where I am understanding what I am supposed to be doing and ideas are starting to click. Then as soon as I try to put them down on paper I am overthinking, and I have lost my original chain of thought. We had a great discussion on Friday about our ‘diagram’ submissions. It was great to hear ideas that people had because I was not really thinking outside of the box and being creative.

Cassie had a great and interesting idea of using the solar system as inspiration to create a mobile of molds that represents her practice. I was curious to know how she would explain this, so people could understand what each piece meant. We discussed that not everything has to be explained in writing people can analyse something and create their own interpretation of it. I left with these questions in mind.

I left this discussion with a new idea of how I can present my ‘diagram.’ Now to expand on my idea and get creating. 😊
