Module 3 here we go!

 So we're here, entering the final module and its time to actually carry out the proposal we spent so much time planning. CRAZY! You would think that it should be easy as you've have everything planned out, you have created a Gantt Chart of what you should be doing an when, but I actually find myself sitting here thinking 'where do I start?' One major thing I took from the last module is to READ READ READ going out and finding literature, not just relying on what can be found on the internet. That's a task I really enjoyed doing with my children, we would go to the library once every 2weeks sit and read books then take some home, which they actually really enjoyed. It also enabled me to get that time to focus on my work! 

This week has been an interesting one, the trailer for the remake of Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' has come out and obviously so media erupts. Pulling on my heart strings and seeing some of the reactions little girls have when they hear Ariel's voice and see her for the first time was so beautiful to see. And that was is what I want to look further into through my proposal. The representation of black women and the affects it has on younger generation. Seeing some of the negative feedback the trailer received was disheartening to say the least. But again something I want to explore further within my inquiry and try and gain some perspective into peoples ways of thinking. 

All in all I'm nervous but excited for this last module! The finish line is so close 😀
